CET 1461C Computer-Aided Engineering
This course teaches the basics of computer-aided engineering (CAE). An array of computer programs is introduced to demonstrate the use of the computer in automating the engineering process. An electronic circuit simulation program is used to build and simulate virtual circuits. A word processing program along with an electronic spreadsheet is used to produce professional technical reports. An introduction to basic computer data structures and algorithms is also included. Lab fee $10.
