HIM 1273C Billing and Reimbursement Methods

This course teaches reimbursement issues for health care facilities. Diagnosis related groups (DRG's), ambulatory related groups (APG's), resources-based relative value scale (RBRVS), health maintenance organizations (HMO's), and other major insurance/third party payors are studied. The various types of reimbursement methodologies are studied and practiced.
