CHD 1220 Introduction to Child Development

In this course students explore the study of growth and development from conception through middle childhood, including physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. An overview of the major theories, concepts, and milestones of child development, as well as the factors that influence it, including genetics, environment, culture, and individual differences is emphasized.
