DEA 1028L Pre-Clinical Orientation Lab
This course teaches clinical content necessary to work with a dentist. The student actively participates in practice procedures on mannequins as well as scheduled dental procedures with patients and dentists. Communicating with dental patients, microbiology and disease transmission, dental instruments, dental handpieces and accessories, medically and physically compromised patients, oral diagnosis and treatment planning, anesthesia and pain control, restorative dentistry, matrix systems for restorative dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, and removable prosthodontis are included.
