Pruitt Campus St. Lucie West
Located in rapidly growing south St. Lucie County, the IRSC Pruitt Campus offers daytime, evening, and Friday-only college credit classes for the Associate Degree including a two-year R.N. program. One-year professional certifications are available in Landscape & Horticulture Technology and Agricultural Production Technology augmented with a turf grass and horticulture lab. English as a Second Language (ESL) and the General Equivalency Diploma (GED®) are offered through the Adult Education Department.
The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Center is home to the Bachelor's Degree in Biology and is supported by sophisticated laboratories in genetics, ecology, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, molecular biology, botany and microbiology. The programs offered in this cutting-edge teaching facility prepare students for employment opportunities on the Research Coast in the STEM disciplines.
Located on the first floor of the newly renovated F-building is IRSC's Enterprise Hub, with representatives from CCTI, SBDC, SCORE, Career Source and the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County promotes entrepreneurship, stimulating job creation and furthering the economic development of the area.
A state-of-the-art academic and public library, the Academic Support Center (ASC), which offers free individualized tutoring, and an assessment center are available to help ensure student success. Advisors and counselors in Student Services provide academic advising, registration and financial aid assistance, and career counseling.
The Schreiber Conference Center offers customized business training through IRSC’s Corporate & Community Training Institute as well as providing a professional venue for local business, government, and community conferences, seminars, and meetings.
