SCE 3360 Middle School/Secondary Science Methods
This course teaches principles of effective curriculum design and assessment. It addresses the required instructional methods, techniques, strategies, and resources for effective science teaching in grades 5-12. This course accompanies the Middle School/Secondary Science Practicum which provides students with opportunities to present their interactive curriculum projects to middle and high school students in local area school districts. This course addresses specific Sunshine State Standards subject matter competencies, and pedagogy pertinent to the discipline required for certification.
