NUR 2420C Maternity Nursing with Lab
This course is concerned with the biologic, psychosocial, and cultural forces influencing child-bearing, beginning with conception and following through pregnancy, birth, and post-natal period. Normal phenomena are studied prior to complications. The nursing process is utilized in the assessment of the unique needs of the family during the child-bearing stage, the diagnosis of family problems, and in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Clinical experiences in clinics and health care facilities are provided. Lab fee $39. Insurance fee $22.
