CCJ 4666 Victimology
This course provides an overview of the legal, psychological, and social consequences and impacts of victimology. Students explore victimization in the context of the criminal justice system. Types of victims, theories and victimization, and treatment of victims are discussed. Additional topics include family violence, domestic violence, special populations, and sexual abuse.
